About raw.tools
raw.tools is a free collection of browser-based utility tools: word counter, JSON formatter, BMI calculator, unit converter, Base64 encoder, and 44 more. Every tool processes data entirely inside your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.
How privacy works here
Every tool is implemented in plain JavaScript that runs client-side. There are no server endpoints that receive your input data, no session storage of tool results, and no third-party SDKs that could exfiltrate text. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), switch to the Network tab, then use any tool — you will see no outgoing requests carrying your input.
Why no accounts, ever
Accounts require email storage, password management, and GDPR compliance infrastructure.
All of that is complexity that slows you down. raw.tools deliberately has no user accounts,
no saved history on our servers, and no email capture. Your usage data stays in your browser's
localStorage — for the "recently used" strip — and nowhere else.
Advertising
raw.tools is funded by Google AdSense display ads. Ads are served by Google and may use interest-based targeting based on your browsing history outside this site — that's Google's system, not ours. No data you enter into tools is shared with advertisers.
